Prior to training dogs the last three years, professionally, I grew up around dogs my entire life. I helped my dad raise and train over 30 police dogs and hunting dogs. Over time, I became really interested in the aspect of behavior modification and rehabilitation. Eventually seeking out the guidance of a reputable trainer in the area, I joined their team and worked with all sorts of behavioral cases for the last three years!
I specialized in fearful dogs during this time. I worked with numerous cases rehabilitating them and giving owners and their dogs a second chance at life! During this time I also have attended countless seminars and workshops under highly praised trainers, as well as completing over 10 online courses that I have paid for myself, that have helped further my knowledge and background on dog training.
My trusty partner in crime is my Czech Working Line German Shepherd, Arya. We have competed in MULTIPLE dog sports and continue to practice in a few others! She is my personal protection dog (PPD), and we continue to work on bite work every week. She also knows all odors for AKC Scent Work. We have obtained our Rally Novice (RN), FastCAT BCAT, Canine Good Citizen (CGC), Fetch Test Novice (FTN), Trick Dog Novice (TKN) and our Trick Dog Intermediate (TKI) titles. There are a lot more dog sports we will continue to practice and trial in this upcoming year.
I am excited that I finally have the opportunity to do what I do best and continue training YOUR dogs here at our very own, brand new facility!

Hi! Welcome to the story of how I unknowingly flipped my world upside-down when I got Bean!
The story starts in 2018 when I got into working at a dog daycare while going to school. In 2019 I decided it was time to bring home a pup of my own! Bean came home in January of 2020, and little did I know how much that would change my life. As soon as Bean came home I noticed things that seemed off but as a new puppy owner and someone who just had basic information about dogs I brushed it off as her being a puppy and didn’t put too much thought into it. Those behaviors I noticed consisted of nervousness that sometimes led to urinating when meeting new people, barking and growling at people in the hallway, not making friends with humans well, nervousness in new situations. Overall, Bean was the ‘problem dog’ in my apartment and at the dog daycare I worked at.
Over time this didn’t get any better, I tried to do things on my own without much luck. That summer Bean’s issues were amplified by a traumatic incident that switched her reactive behavior to aggression based in fear.
From there I hired a trainer that was local to me and we made some progress but I wanted more. I scheduled an evaluation at my previous employer and Bean hid, growling, barking and overall terrified in the corner the whole time. I was genuinely convinced they were going to tell me this wasn’t fixable. Shortly after we had our evaluation it was posted that they were hiring and even though I lived over an hour away at the time I jumped on the opportunity that led me to where we are today, Bean and I are thriving and have flipped the table to help others train either dogs with problematic behaviors!
Today Bean is 6 years old and I finally got the nerve to put all our skills to the test with dog sports and I’m so proud of us. She's not perfect and we still sometimes have days where she is naughty but it's pretty remarkable where we are now compared to where we started! She is how I got into training dogs professionally, it’s been such a rewarding career, watching owners realize their dogs can move past their problem behaviors will always be a favorite part of my work! As for Bean and I, we are tackling the world of AKC Rally, dabble in bitesports and AKC Fast CAT!
